I've always had an affinity for "old" things. I was mystified as a child by anything tucked away in a box. The dark corners in my grandparents' basement were uncharted territories of exploration.

When my grandfather passed away in 2005, I was aghast at the ease with which other family members referred to a lifetime of collecting. Being 6 months pregnant at the time, it was tough for me to jump in and "rescue" everything, but I did my fair share. A short time later, I realized that I couldn't possibly save everything, but I did realize that I could help to put perfectly good and often beautiful items back into circulation. I felt better surrounding myself with items that have survived many seasons. Some of them I knew the history of, and others I was just learning.

I began to slowly collect and sell the items that I wished I could keep for myself. I've always been a bit of a pack rat, and this assuaged my need to gather without turning me into a future participant in the show "Hoarders."

I love beautiful things, I love items with a history and a past. By mixing unique vintage items and my own handmade and/or refurbished household items, I have created this little shop, run from a corner in my workroom.
